About Deal Scout

Jumia Kenya lists millions of products. Most of the work of shopping there is filtering out the noise — the same item at six prices, the “discount” off a price nobody ever paid, the listing with no useful description.

Deal Scout is a short, hand-picked list of things actually worth buying, with a straight link to each one on Jumia.

How products get here

• Every product is added by hand. Nothing is bulk-imported or auto-generated.
• Discounts are ranked by the real saving against the usual price, not by whatever badge the listing carries.
• Prices are re-checked periodically, and every product page shows when it was last checked. Where we're not sure, we say so.

What happens when you buy

You buy from Jumia, exactly as you would normally. We don't take payments, hold stock, or ship anything. Your order, delivery, warranty, and any returns are between you and Jumia.

How this is funded

Through the Jumia affiliate programme: Jumia pays us a commission on eligible purchases made through our links, out of their own margin. The price you pay is unchanged. The full details are in our affiliate disclosure.

Commission rates differ by product, and we don't let that decide what gets listed. A site that only recommends whatever pays best stops being worth reading, which would defeat the point.
